I'm sick and tired of how quickly people can jump on and off a bandwagon. Take for example the 2009-2010 Raptors. They win their first game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, not only did they win that game by scoring more points than the Cavs (My pick to win it all), but they out worked them in every facet of the game, their defence, offence, rebounding, it was all fluid and optimism was at an all time high.
Fast forward to Friday, the trap game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Clearly an upset team who just got humiliated at home by the Pistons, they wanted to reedeem themselves in their next game. They did what the Raptors did to the Cavs on Wednesday, out worked them in every facet of the game, and won. Woop-dee-doo!
Now today, a home game against Orlando, the finals runner up last year. They are a much superior team to us, and they lost because of their lack of perimeter D. Now people are questioning Colangelos moves in the offseason, some are even starting a "LETS GET HINRICH" petition on realgm. This really has to stop, people need faith in their team.
This is a new teams, it's going to take time for them to gel. Lets wait 15-20 games to actually evaluate this team to see where they are going.
Thants my rant.

Birthday All-Stars
Hey gang,
I was pretty bored in class today so I went looking for something to do. What I did was look at people who were born on the same date as me. I then decided to make a list of my "Birthday All Stars". The Birthday All Stars is a list of the five best athletes born on your birthday.
Mine are as follows:
Vincent Damphousse: A centre who was drafted in the first round by the Leafs in 1989.Scored 400 goals in his career.
Albert King: A small forward who was drafted in the first round by the New Jersey nets in 1981. Averaged 12.1 points a game for his career.
Takeo Spikes: A linebacker who was drafted in the first round by the Cincinati Bengals in 1998. He appeared in 3 pro bowls in his career.
Erik Christiensen: A centre who currently plays for the Anaheim Ducks. He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He hasn't appeared in any pro bowls, but is a welcome addition to a contending team.
and finally, the best athlete born on December 17th is none other than...
Chase Utley: He is the Second Basemen for the defending world series champs Philadelphia Phillies. He has appeared in four all star games and is looking to lead his team to another World Series this year against the New York Yankees.

Fantasy Football
Hey guys!
As you may or may not know, I'm an avid fantasy football player. This year I have two teams, both called ITSYMBII (Is that something you might be interested in) and at the half way point I'm at a combined record of 7 - 7. I'm using this post to vent my anger at Eagles running back Brian Westbrook who I traded for this past week and JUST got injured by a London Fletcher hit in their game against the Eagles.
So, I'm currently in panic mode with my team.
I currently have
QB: Matt Schaub
RB: Michael Turner, Ray Rice, Brian Westbrook and Darren Sproles
WR: Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith 1.0, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Bryant
TE: Visanthe Schiancoe
DEF: Patriots
What am I to do with this team, I mean, on paper its a great team, but I only have a 4-3 record with them. Oh how I hate fantasy football.

NBA 2009-2010 Season Predictions
Hello again, sorry about the lack of posts. I've however been super busy with school, BUT I've found time to post to you my predictions for the upcoming 2009-2010 NBA Season. Like I was with the Toronto Maple Leafs, I was going into the season very optimistic and things have nt changed with the Raptors so far.
There are still many questions going into this season like, Can Shaq REALLY be a sidekick? Are the Boston Three Party done, or will they be back this season? Are the Spurs going to make a run? And finally, can the Lakers repeat? This makes this season a very intriguing one from game number one all the way until the deciding game of the NBA finals.

Last Night
As you may or may not know, I work at the Air Canada Centre. Home of the Maple Leafs and the Raptors, and yes, optimism is very very VERY high. Well, last night was my first day at work for the 2009-2010 season and I was in utter shock when I saw the renovations that were done at the facility. Truly Beautiful, the Leafs did however lose in a high scoring game to the Buffalo Sabres in their last pre season game, but they finished off the pre season with a very good record. I personally cannot wait until the home opener on Thursday against the Habs.

Something I wrote for Ryerson
Euro Basketball Championships Preview
Throughout this decade if one were to talk about Greece and sports, they would most likely discuss their Cinderella run to the top of the soccer world by winning the Euro Cup in 2004, or the amazing show they put on for the world in the 2004 Summer Olympics (2004 was a Good year). What may slip peoples mind is that in this decade Greece had very successful basketball runs, both internationally and in the EuroLeague, and with the EuroBasket being the last major international competition for Greece this decade, they are poised for a strong showing.
The Past three showings at the Eurobasket have been great for Greece, in 2003 they finished 5th (Losing to eventual 3rd place Italy), in 2005 where they won it all in Serbia – Montenegro, and 2007 finishing 4th (Losing to European powerhouse Spain, winners that year), 2009 should be a great showing for the team as they have their starters back from the last tournament and added two young intriguing players, Kosta Koufos (Back – up centre for the Utah Jazz) and Giorgios Printezis (Toronto Raptors prospect). Throw all of this in together and Greece will be a force to be reckoned with at this tournament.
This year, Greece has Macedonia , Croatia, and Israel in their group. The games against Israel and Macedonia are very winnable games, provided that the Greeks play their gritty, hard nosed game against them. The most important game is against Croatia, who just came off winning the Gold Medal in the Mediterranean cup in late June, they will pose the toughest test for Greece getting into the 2nd Round.
All in all, Greece has once again brought a talented team into the Eurobasket and will likely make some head turns, and hopefully win a medal in order to make it one of Greece’s most successful decades not only in Basketball, but in sports in general.

Fresh change.
Alright, so my former blog oneloveoneeye fell off the grid, I lost interest in just posting random videos. However I did enjoy venting a bit on this site about the state of Toronto sports.
Lets get this straight, I've been following sports since I was about 3, every day since 1993 I've been watching Sportscentre, Score Tonight or some variation of news show would would give me my sports highlights for the day. I've been with the Leafs through thick and thin, and I've been a fan of them for almost 16 years now. The Raptors, however I really became hardcore about them when I started to work at the Air Canada Centre in 2006, the beginning of the Colangelo (Savior) era. The jays, unfortunatley I've been following them since the year AFTER they beat the Phillies in the '93 series, so I haven't had a great go with my taste of Toronto sports so far.
This past 08-09 Campaign for each of the Toronto franchises were filled with different levels of expectations, The Raptors were expected to be a 50 win team with the Bosh/O'neal twin headed monster, that didn't end up too too well, as J.O is in Miami. The Leafs were expected to be a bottom dweller and be a part of the John Taveras sweepstakes, that also didn't go to favorably in our favor, as we ended up with the 7th overall pick and drafted Nazem Kadri, a team mate of Taveras. The Jays, were supposed to be down right awful, but they started off the season on a tear, and had the best record in the American League, now they're 4th and under .500 and now are pretty much ready to blow it up.
This, however does not phase me, now don't get me wrong, I don't think that the Raptors/Leafs/ will compete for championships next season, and I sure as hell don't think the Jays are either. I do remain optimistic though!
The Leafs made some great changes, and altered the whole way they are going to approach their games over the course of the 2009-2010 season, they're going to be a tough team, something similar to the Philadelphia Flyers and Anaheim Ducks, a team that what lacks in talent, will make up for in heart and grit. Granted, I still think they need someone to score their goals, but it sure will be great to see them enforcing rather than being pushed around by opposing teams.
The Raptors, well more Bryan Colangelo shell shocked me this off season by turning Shawn Marion, Kris Humpheries, Nate Jawai into Hedo Turkoglu, Antoine Wright, Marco Bellinelli, Jarret Jack, and of course my favorite, Rasho Nesterovic. This team went from no depth whatsoever, to having one of the best benches, and arguably starting lineups in the NBA (aside from the Big 4 of Cavs, Lakers, Magic, Spurs).
EDIT!: I neglected to mention the Celtics in my rant (Please don't kill me Mr. Garnett). They are part of the Big 5!
We can't win them all though, the Blue Jays also shocked me this season by not trading Halladay (I didn't want him gone, but they really have nowhere to go but down) and giving away Rios for absolutley nothing. I can't really stay optimistic for them, but its really tough for them considering they're in the toughest division in baseball with the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays all who are top 10 teams in the league in my opinion.
So, that ends it. I'm back. consider this my fresh start!

I can't really stay optimistic for them, but its really tough for them considering they're in the toughest division in baseball with the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays all who are top 10 teams in the league in my opinion.
So, that ends it. I'm back. consider this my fresh start!

Playoff Predictions
So I know I missed out making predictions for the first round, but I'll post my second round onward predictions for the NHL playoffs, and as well for the NBA once they finish up their first round.
Boston Bruins vs Carolina Hurricaines
This series is going to be closer than people think , Cam Ward is a great goalie in the playoffs and I feel like he is going to steal a game on his own. Carolina is also a great team at home. With that being said, Boston is the best team in the Eastern Conference and I feel are too deep for Carolina to handle.
Boston will win this series in 6 games.
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Washington Capitals
This series has a lot of hype built up because of the Ovechkin vs Crosby/Malkin match up, and I, along with the majority of people are most excited for this series. With that being said I believe that Pittsburgh will steal a game on the road and be unstoppable at home.
Pittsburgh in 6
Detroit vs Anaheim
I, for one am ecstatic that Anaheim had beat San Jose in the first round of the playoffs, they're a lot better team than their record gives them credit for. With that being said, Detroit is at the top of their game right now and will beat the Ducks and get into the West Finals.
Detroit in 7
Chicago vs Vancouver
This series is very interesting, Vancouver doesn't have a great offence, but the best goalie in the playoffs right now, whereas Chicago really has nothing to lose. With that being said, I think Luongo will steal 2 games for the Canucks which will bring them to the West Finals.

RE: Davids comment on my Toronto Draft post
Daivd, I'm addressing you personally because you are the only one who comments on my sports columns, which I love you for. So I'm going to individually address each of your 6 points.
1)" No one cares bout the Leafz. Though having brothers play together would be cool. Itd be like the Sedins. Cept not as good."
For sure, but you don't know that. The Sedins were drafted right after eachother and #2 and #3, so they were expected to produce from the get go, and they have.
2) "No player under 6'4 should be drafted with pick 1 unless Jose is traded."
Check their profiles.
Tyreke Evans
Demar Derozan
3) ""Bosh might very well be traded. I saw somewhere Bosh + pick for Green + Watson + Thabo + pick. Then we go get Griff I guess.
Yeah, but I'm talking about who the Raptors should draft if no major changes are made.
4) "I want this guy.http://asunews.asu.edu/files/images/20080311_harden.jpg"
Me too, we're not getting him though.
5) Then this guyhttp://www.collegehoopsjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/tyler-hansbrough-tall.jpg
Me too, but we don't have a late pick, and he's a reach at #9.
6) Then this guy http://cache.deadspin.com/assets/images/deadspin/2008/07/ron_artest.jpg
No doubt, he's a bonafide psycho. We have Marion though, if the Raptors get rid of him, Ron Ron would be a suitable replacement.

It's April
It's April, so that means the Raptors and Maple Leafs won't be making the playoffs this year. So what keeps Raptors and Leafs fans sane until the beginning of next season? The Draft of course!
This year, the Leafs and Raptors will both have top 10 picks in the draft and will want to obtain some talent.
Lets start with the Leafs first.
Oh well, they didn't finish bad enough to get John Taveras. Whatever, no big deal. They're projected to pick 7th overall, hopefully with that pick they get this fella named Brayden Schenn, little brother of current Leaf rookie Luke Schenn. This would be of great help because Brayden is not yet a great player, but has the tools to become one. Furthermore, the chemistry these two players would have together could be deadly once they get a feel for the game. So please Toronto, get Luke happy and draft his brother Brayden.
Onto the Raptors, they really disappointed this year and then some. That doesn't mean that they have to tear down their team and re-build. All the really need is some wing help. With that being said, with the 9th pick in the NBA Draft the Toronto Raptors should pick either Tyreke Evans from Memphis or Demar Derozan from USC, they would need time to develop, but they both have potential to be very good players in this league.
Jays thought.
Two games into the Blue Jays season to my surprise their record is TOPS in the ever competitive AL east, this really caught me by surprise. What I'm really much more surprised about is how likeable the players are this year, one who really caught my attention when I went to the game with my friend is Travis Snider.
What makes Travis Snider great isn't his potential to be a great player in MLB, but...wait for it.
HIS FREAKIN WALK UP MUSIC!
Everytime Snider came up to the plate a Lil Wayne song would come up my friend David and I were like "Wow, this guy is pretty freakin ballin". To get an idea of WHO Travis Snider is..(This is taken from Wikipedia)
Travis James Snider (born February 2, 1988 in Everett, Washington) is a Major League Baseball player for the Toronto Blue Jays. He is considered a power hitter who could potentially play right field, left field or first base. He hits and throws left-handed. He played baseball at Henry M. Jackson High School, where he also played running back and linebacker in football. Snider played for the Mill Creek Little League team at 1999 Little League Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California.
JUST SOME WHITE GUY . He's awesome, and my new favorite Jay.
What a gangster.

Turns out I picked the winner, which is the first time I ever did that.
Cool shit. I'm running out of sports to watch, I'm gonna have to watch the Blue Jays until the Raptors and Leafs start up again.

New additions to the MFE
The MFE or better known as the Morgan Freeman effect describes an individual in a movie or a song that where the song would not be as good without him/her or a song or movie would be great with the addition of him/her.
I'd like to add two more people onto the list including Morgan Freeman and T-Pain. The new members inducted are Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.
Thank you Chris for suggesting those artists.

Morgan Freeman Effect (Update)
Another person who I believe demonstrates the Morgan Freeman Effect is T-Pain.

Stel Grigo is an IDIOT!
So today a few of my keyboard keys decided to crap out on me, so I restarted my computer a bunch of times and it still wouldn't work.
So what do I do in order to try to fix it?
I go to the bathroom, get the hair dryer and try to dry the keys myself. I stop, and I notice something different with a few of my keys. Whats wrong with them? They partially melted from the damn hot air.
Jeez. Now I gotta send the laptop in for repairs and replace the whole keyboard. ugh.

The Morgan Freeman Effect
I sort of came up with this theory on my way to school today.
Basically what it is, is that any movie could be improved by putting Morgan Freeman into it. In addition, if a movie with Morgan Freeman already in it (Which is a lot) were to be taken out and to be replaced with another actor, the movie would suck.
Thats my theory.

So today.. and the Discovery or P.E.A.
Today was a great day, as the weather is freakin awesome , no clouds in the sky and hardly any wind. I also went to the Raptors game today with one of my good friends Bernie. It was pretty great to see the Raptors 1) Win a game, and 2) Win a game through hustling, driving to the hoop and making the other team look stupid. Had an awesome time.
Over the course of the game Bernie and I would continuously talk about nothing (Kinda sounds like a seinfeld episode, I know) and occasionally have an "OH SHIT!?" moment when Pops Mensah Bonsu and Shawn Marion would dunk the ball ( Which they did a whole lot of today). Anyway, during our conversation he told me about a theory that he likes to call P.E.A.(Personality Enhanced Attractiveness).
To me, he is sort of a genius because this was all collectively on the tip of our tounges, because we were all aware of girls that had a personality that made them hotter or less attractive, we just never bothered to give it a name.
So what P.E.A. measures is a measure of a girl or guys qualities or drawbacks that make him/her attractive or unattractive. A girl with a positive P.E.A would carry attributes such as a good sense of humour, ability to take chirps from guys, and liking/knowing about stuff sports or cars. A guy with a positivie P.E.A would carry similar attributes. Those attributes would make a girl/guy seem far more attractive in comparison to just glancing at her from a distance. An example of a woman with a good P.E.A. is Robin Scherbatsky from the CBS show How I met your Mother, she watches Hockey, is hilarious and can give and take chirps. An example for guys would be Seth Rogen.
However, a girl with a negative P.E.A. would carry the dreaded "qualities" like smoking, being really annoying, having a repulsive voice or talking down to people. That would make her less attractive than she physically is. The best example of a negative P.E.A is Paris Hilton. For guys it would be Robert Pattinson, the guy from the movie Twilight.
So, P.E.A. I'm making it my job to spread this term around, just so us guys or even girls who want to use it on guys have a measuring stick to evaluate the opposite sex.
Thank you Bernie for helping create this term.

Today at Union Station...
So I got off of work today at 2 and at around the same time my friend Bernie who goes to school at Western was taking the train to visit Toronto this weekend and his train came to Union right around the same time, so we figured that we would meet up.
Anyway, we met up and walked towards the TTC part of Union. Bernie, like any normal person didn't want to pay $2.75 to take the train home, and I had a metro pass for this month so we figured we'd do a "pass back".
So, I went first and swiped my metro pass, left it on the turnstile and started walking towards the train platform. I then looked back and didn't see Bernie and I saw a woman with a metro pass coming through the turnstile. Immediatley I was led to believe that she took my metro pass, because I didn't see Bernie take mine.
I then confronted her, asking where she had got her Metro pass from. She started acting all defensive and yelled at me to leave her alone. Basically, I had no idea what was going to happen, I thought she was going to pull out her rape whistle and scream for help, or pepper spray me or go all womens defence on my ass. I then kept looking around for my friend and still didn't see him. So, I decided to chase her down, and I sprinted down the bus platform in an attempt to get my metro pass back, cuz its my fucking metro pass and basically my key to the city. i love that thing.
As soon as I got down there, I found my friend and asked him if he had taken my metro pass. He replied, yes i did. He was very confused as to what was happening and we got into the train car and I had told him about the whole metro pass situation and the woman I had confronted. Little did I know that woman was sitting in thge same car and our eyes met. I immediatley apologized for confronting her like that and we both laughed it off.
Thats my story, now I'm just lying down watching the Purdue/Illionois game and getting ready for my night.

True or False..He got 0/100.
Response from the teacher:
Dear Michael,
Every year I attempt to boost my students' final grades by giving them this relatively simple exam consisting of 100 True or False questions from only 3 chapters of material. For the past 20 years that I have taught Intro Communications 101 at this institution I have never once seen someone score below a 65 on this exam. Consequently, your score of a zero is the first in history and ultimately brought the entire class average down a whole 8 points.
There were two possible answer choices: A (True) and B (False). You chose C for all 100 questions in an obvious attempt to get lucky with a least a quarter of the answers. It's as if you didn't look at a single question. Unfortunately, this brings your final grade in this class to failing. See you next year!
May God have mercy on your soul.
Sincerely,
Professor William Turner
P.S. If all else fails, go with B from now on.
B is the new C
Funny stuff.

So I just might watch American Idol this week
Something that I never do, apart from the finales. Reason why, is because Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson are on the Wednesday episode..March 11th. :)
Courtside tees
I thought these t-shirts were pretty funny considering Jack Nicholson and Spike Lee are always sitting courtside for Knick and Laker games. Enjoy.

FML Toronto Sports - Raptors Edition
Alright, So I think I work in the best place in Toronto. The Air Canada Centre, home of the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Don't get me wrong, I'll always cheer for these two teams because they are my home town teams, but lately they're giving me plenty of reasons to hate them. I'll start with the Raptors and address the Leafs in another post.
Alright, I will admit it, I haven't been a Raptors fan from the beginning, or even when they were at their best with Vince Carter. I became a fan when they hired Brian Colangelo as their general manager, and then picked Andrea Bargnani with the first selection in the 2006 nba draft. Right around the same time I was hired to work at the Air Canada Centre, so I figured I'd start to watch the Raptors with optimism at an all time high, and that I would be exposed to the Raptors and Leafs everytime I'd go to work.
So, the Raptors finished that season tying their best all time record, won their first division title and played the man who deserted their franchise years ago Vince Carter. I had gone to game 2 of that series prior to my trip to New York and it was the most amazing event that I had ever attended, the atmosphere was truly amazing. Unfortunatley, the Raptors had lost that series and were eliminated from the playoffs. I was upset, but I was sure the Raptors would return with vengeance next year and for sure make a splash.
Last year it was more of the same, unfortunatley injuries led to a bit of a drop off in their record but they still made the playoffs, but were promptly eliminated by a much better team in the Orlando Magic. In the offseason, they traded one of their best players and one of my favorite players T.J Ford, Rasho Nesterovic and their first round pick for a former all star centre Jermaine O'neal. Personally, I was not a fan of the trade because I feel that they had a more pressing need in their guard position and small forward position and that they should have targetted Shawn Marion or Gerald Wallce, two players that were being shopped by their teams at the time.
The 2008-2009 campaign began for the Raptors with two straight wins on the road against Philadelphia and Miluakee, leading up to their home opener that I attended against the Golden State Warriors. They won that game in overtime, Chris Bosh played like an MVP and the Raptors were playing with swagger, something that they never really had since the Vince Carter days.
Unfortunatley, this was all a mirage as the Raptors always seemed to collapse at the end of games and now they are sitting 2nd last in the Eastern Conference, and would pick 8th inNBA Draft, not guaranteeing them an impact player which is something that they're lacking, but enough to hopefully give them a solid contributor.
So that is that state of the Raptors, they are not going to make the playoffs this year when their expectations to succeed were higher than ever. I cannot wait for this season to end because this team needs a major retooling. I'll address my ideas at a later date, when I have a level head and not going crazy.
Those are my thoughts for now. Thanks.

In honor of Bill Simmons
So I stated that I really like and admire Bill Simmons the writer for ESPN. What I like so much about him is his "Lists" and Memes. I'll provide an example, and I sorta created my own list, certainly not as good, but hey, I'll share it.
First Mine..I created this sort of "Token White Guy" list, which states white artists or singers who aren't rappers but are respected in the hip hop community.
The people who are included on this list are Justin Timberlake, Colby O'Donis, Chris Martin, Adam Levinge, John Mayer and a new member is Andy Samberg.
Now for my favorite Simmons memes.
Ewing Theory
One of Simmons's most used Internet memes has been the Ewing Theory,[13] which was conceived by reader Dave Cirilli and named after Patrick Ewing of the New York Knicks. In 1998-99, the Knicks made the NBA Finals after Ewing sustained an Achilles' tendon injury. Thus, the Ewing Theory claims that when a longtime superstar who has never won a championship leaves the team via injury, trade or free agency, and the media writes the team off, the team will play better.
Examples would be Nomar Garciaparra when he got traded from the Red Sox and they won their first World Series in 86 years that season. Another one is Tiki Barber retired from the Giants and they won the championship that year as well.
Emilio Estevez All Stars
In a September 19, 2008, column, Simmons created the Emilio Estevez all-stars. The team is named in recognition of people with Latino names who don't look remotely Latino.
Emilio Estevez
Anthony Gonzalez
Jeff Garcia
Rich Rodriguez
Barry Alvarez
The Lindsey Hunter All Stars
In his August 10, 2007 mailbag, Simmons, with a reader's help, added a new category "The Lindsey Hunter All Stars", a list of male athletes with names that make them sound like a hot girl.
Alexis Ajinca
Coco Crisp
Lindsey Hunter
Aubrey Huff
Courtney Lee
Ashley Lelie
Brook Lopez
Robin Lopez
Sidney Rice
Alexis Rios
Anyways, so thats my love post for Bill Simmons, hope you enjoyed it and I hope you weren't waiting too too long when I was writing that I would write more about Bill in just a bit in my previous posts...
See ya.

See ya.
PS all my info is from Wikipedia.
Friggin Daylight Savings
So I just woke up and I totally forgot that it was the day that we turn our clocks ahead. I just now figured out that it is 12:00 PM and I feel like my day has already been wasted, oh well.
What I think about at 12:54 A.M
Uhhh morning? or good evening? I don't know, either way..hey!
Just arrived home from my cousins party, and I'm pretty pooped from my day. From waking up, to making the shirt, to the game, to the party, it has been a pretty rockin March 7th 2009 for me.
With that being said there are a few things on my mind, just a few thoughts here and there, and if you're interested in reading on, then by all means these next few sentences or paragraphs are for you..depending on how much sense I make during that time.
First thing that's on my mind, has to be the city of Boston. Pretty random, I know..but I have this sort of love/hate thing with the city and the state of Massachusetts in general. So, I'll start with what I love about Boston, it is pretty safe to say that I absolutely love Boston clam chowder, the people that live there and support their sports teams ( I'm basing this on the fans that were at the game today) and of course my favorite part about Boston is that one of my favourite writers Bill Simmons was born there (I'll get back to Bill in a bit).
What I do not like about Boston is the damn success of all their sports teams at the same time, yeah I'm damn jealous because every Toronto team sucks, its a fact.
Maple Leafs are the 7th worst team in the NHL
Raptors are currently the 2nd worst team in their conference.
Blue Jays are on the wrong side of the best division in baseball.
and Toronto FC has great entertainment value, they just cant win games.
Do not even get me started on the Argos...
Anyways, another Boston peeve of mine would have to be Ben Affleck, I do not really understand why everyone loves him...meh, whatever. hes not worth much to me.
There is a lot more on my mind, but getting out all my thoughts right now would keep me up past 3, and I'm getting reallly tired.
So g'night :)

Just got home from the game
So I just got home from the opening game of the world baseball classic, and it was indeed a classic. Canada almost pretty much took the lead in the 9th inning, but unfortunatley morneau or bay couldn't make it happen. oh well.
anyways, it was the best time i ever had at a baseball game and i'm really happy i went. my shirt was a hit, and it got many comments like "Nice!" and "Nice shirt dude!".
Mad props to Joey Votto and Russell Martin for making this one of the best games I've ever been to in any sport.
Gotta jet, will post some more later tonight.

Canada shirt pics
So the shirt turned out a bit better than I had expected...I put MORNEAU on the back, he is probably one of my favorite baseball players even though I'm not too huge on the sport in general with the steroids, HGH and MUSCLEEE MILK!! etc etc..However, its not everyday you go to a game to see Canada vs USA...So i gotta show my Canadian pride lolll.
enjoy the pics
Morning!
Hey everyone,
Just woke up...its 10:40 a,m..pretty excited for today because it is March 7th, and I'm going to the home opener for Canada which is against the USA in the World Baseball Classic. So, I'm going with a couple of friends of mine and were gonna have a good time.
So currently, because of this recession, I cant just go out and buy a jersey to wear to this game, which kind of sucks. However! I'm creating a solution, the other day my friend David and I went to Spadina (chinatown) and bought a couple of shirts that say Canada on the front, so..as we speak im putting a name on the back of that shirt!
Pics soon to come!

Quick review of Watchmen
Like I stated in my previous post, I just came back from seeing the movie Watchmen, basically...This movie was overall entertaining, but what stopped me from really liking the movie was that I could not get into the main characters, their personalities seemed so dry or bland, or in the case of the the big blue guy Jon or Dr.Manhatten had no personality at all, which I guess was his "thing".
Anyway, This movie I realized was pretty sexed up in comparison to other movies I've seen recently, and I was kinda caught off guard, very subtle innuendos here and there, made it sorta funny.
Hmmmm, what else? Basically all there is to say is that I really want to see Terminator Salvation now (it was in the previews) and that I can safely say that my childhood dream of being a superhero is definitley being re-ignited, so thank you Watchmen for that, but that didn't save you from being an average movie.

My arrival
Bahahahhahaaha, So I decided to make a blog...
its 1:54 A.M, and I just came home from seeing the movie Watchmen. It was alrrrrrright, nothing too too special, but a good movie to see in a theatre as opposed to a rental.
Obviously, there's a reason why I decided to create a blog, I guess you could put the blame on my girl E. You can find her blog at
